Business of Cinema is reporting that Richard Fox, executive VP of Warner Bros. International and head of Warner Bros' non-U.S. initiatives, will be awarded an Indian Film Festival Los Angeles (IFFLA) Industry Leadership Award. Amit Khanna, chairman of Reliance Big Entertainment (which recently acquired Dreamworks) will also be honored.
The award celebrates the "achievements of industry executives who have had substantial and personal impact on the creation and distribution of Indian themed content globally and have led the expansion of the entertainment and media industry in India." Presentations will take place on April 24, 2009 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.
